May 27, 2016 – Bayou City Broadcasting Lafayette, Inc. Signs a Definitive Agreement to Buy KADN and KLAF-LD from Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc.

May 27, 2016

Bayou City Broadcasting Lafayette, Inc. announced today that it has entered into an agreement to buy the FOX affiliate
KADN, KADN.2- NBC affiliate and NBC affiliate KLAF-LD in Lafayette, Louisiana from Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc.
for $40 million.

Bayou City Broadcasting Lafayette, Inc. is an affiliate of Bayou City Broadcasting, Evansville, Inc. and is owned and
managed by the same partnership group headed by DuJuan McCoy, Owner, President and CEO of Bayou City Broadcasting,

This will mark the second transaction in as many years that Bayou City Broadcasting will complete with Nexstar. In
January 2015, Bayou City Broadcasting closed on WEVV- CBS and FOX D2 and WEEV-LD FOX in Evansville, IN for
$26.8 million from Nexstar. Since that purchase Bayou City Broadcasting has launched 51 hours per week of local news
programming on those stations which has catapulted WEVV CBS and FOX from being a powerful sports and entertainment
combo into a viable and credible news source to the local communities in the Evansville DMA.

“I am thrilled to be able to add two more Big 4 affiliates to the Bayou City family particularly KADN and KLAF.
They are remarkably similar to Evansville in that they have a great group of employees that have done an outstanding job
launching their own new newscast last month.”

“Additionally, Perry Sook, CEO of Nexstar should be commended for his continued and conscious effort to improve
the dearth of ownership of broadcast TV stations by women and minorities. By doing so, he is helping the FCC further its
diversity initiatives while at the same time setting a great example for other broadcasters – large or small, to take note and
join his efforts to help self-regulate an endemic industry problem.” said DuJuan McCoy.
